1. About Us
Sweet Starter Bakery is a home-based artisan cottage bakery operated by Chloe in Dearborn, MI. We operate under the Michigan Cottage Food Law as a licensed home-based bakery.
2. Orders & 72-Hour Notice
All orders require a minimum of 72 hours advance notice. Orders are requests only and are not confirmed until Chloe reaches out to confirm pickup details. The earlier you order, the better — especially for custom requests.
3. Local Pickup Only
All orders are fulfilled by local pickup in Dearborn, MI. We do not offer delivery or shipping of any kind. There is no walk-in storefront. Pickup details are confirmed after your order is accepted.
4. Pricing
Pricing is available upon request and confirmed by Chloe directly. Prices may vary based on customization, quantity, and ingredients.
5. Food Safety & Allergens
Our products are made in a home kitchen that may handle common allergens including wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy. While we take care to avoid cross-contact, we cannot guarantee any product is allergen-free. Please inform us of any allergies when placing your order.
6. Cancellations
Because every item is made fresh to order, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your order. Cancellation terms are handled on a case-by-case basis by Chloe.
